Cadoux Ltd (Cadoux), in partnership with Minhub Operations Pty Ltd (MOPL), has executed a Heads of Agreement to secure an interest in the Wimmera Mineral Sands (WMS) Project, a high-quality critical minerals asset.
Located in a Tier-1 mining jurisdiction, WMS spans approximately 1,380km² in one of Australia’s premier rare earth and mineral sands provinces. The project hosts extensive, shallow, and continuous mineralisation, with high-grade results. Importantly, it supports Cadoux’s broader strategy to build an integrated supply chain alongside the Minhub Project, linking high quality feedstock with downstream processing capability.

- Earn in to a large scale, underexplored project in Victoria’s Wimmera region
- Ability to earn up to 80 percent with milestone aligned expenditure
- High grade, shallow mineralisation confirmed at the Danube prospect
- Significant exploration upside across multiple largely untested targets
- Exposure to critical heavy rare earths through xenotime rich mineral sands
- Strong strategic alignment with the Minhub Project and future downstream processing
- Located in a globally significant rare earth and zircon province
The WMS Project presents a compelling opportunity to define a large, scalable mineral sands and rare earth project. Early drilling at the Danube prospect has confirmed continuous, shallow mineralisation with encouraging grades, supporting the potential for rapid resource definition.
The broader project area hosts multiple WIM style and strandline targets that remain largely untested for rare earths, providing considerable exploration upside. With supportive government policy and streamlined approvals under the Victorian Critical Minerals Roadmap, Cadoux and MOPL are well positioned to advance the project towards development.
The WMS Project is expected to play a key role in Cadoux’s vertically integrated strategy. The project has the potential to deliver a long-term source of zircon and rare earth rich feedstock for the proposed Minhub mineral separation plant in Darwin.
This integration positions Cadoux across the value chain, from discovery and resource growth through to processing and product supply. It also supports the development of a sovereign Australian processing pathway for xenotime bearing mineral sands, strengthening supply security for critical heavy rare earth products in Australian and allied markets.
